YAY!!!

WE'RE BUILDING A HOUSE!! This is crazy! We won one of the lots we bid on through the N.O.R.A. program. This is so exciting and yet scary! So I guess I need to keep looking at inspiration photos huh?

 This is from Habitually Chic . I like the way it uses white cabinetry then the deep dark island. Plus, now that this is a reality, I'm not sure my husband is quite sold on white cabinetry. Hopefully I can make him see the light...

Nice gray kitchen

One of my favorite blogs, The House that A-M Built, has posted the kitchen of the HGTV 2010 Green Home on their site. I've been meaning to post some pics of this kitchen so I don't forget about it. I'm glad she reminded me. It's a great one!

Just spotted this lovely, subtle kitchen on one of my newly found favorite blogs, Brabourne Farm.
I usually fall for white cabinets but the gray is really nice with the countertops and the dark floors.
